MUSIC HALL FINIAL RESTORATION
Fire Lab worked with Arya Design to restore the finials on Samual Hannaford's Cincinnati Music Hall, completed in 1879.
Jamie and his moldmaking partner, Zach Sabatelli coated wood models of the 4-foot-tall finials in wax and scored them to reproduce the original texture of carved sandstone. They produced polyurethane rubber and plastic molds to cast the new finial pieces and lyre spikes with GFRC. The project, funded by the Friends of Music Hall in partnership with SSRG, won a 2021 Cincinnati Preservation Association Award.

QUEEN CITY THRONE
A monument to Cincinnati Royalty, the Queen City Throne is a site where everyone is valued, where people come to express their unique identities, reflect on their heritage and celebrate their journey. The design is inspired by the Roebling Bridge, an architectural gem of Cincinnati, which from its inception, has been a gateway between the North and South and an icon of unity and pride.
