MUSIC HALL FINIAL RESTORATION
Fire Lab worked with Arya Design, in partnership with EverGreene Architectural Arts (Brooklyn, NY) and ExactMetrology (Cincinnati) to restore the finials on Samual Hannaford's Cincinnati Music Hall. The project to restore sixteen 140-year-old sandstone finials on the National Historic Landmark in the High Victorian Gothic style, was funded by the Friends of Music Hall, and won a Cincinnati Preservation Association Award. Jamie reproduced the original texture of the carved sandstone with wax, and made the polyurethane rubber and plastic molds to cast the new finials with GFRC.
